Morpheus8 uses microneedling and radiofrequency (RF) energy to comprehensively address various aesthetic concerns. This minimally invasive treatment stimulates collagen production, remodels subcutaneous fat, and tightens skin tissue, culminating in a rejuvenated appearance.
1
Microneedling uses small needles to prick the skin to stimulate new collagen and tissue for smoother, firmer, and more toned skin. On the other hand, radiofrequency can trigger collagen and elastin production at a deeper level than microneedling. When combined, microneedling creates the channels to allow the RF to penetrate the skin’s deepest layers for a more effective contouring.
2
These 3 features result in dermal and subdermal remodelling to increase adhesion between skin and adipose tissue. It helps improve the look of sagging skin, laxity, and loss of fat compartment (hollow cheeks or temples).

While suitable for all skin types, individuals with severe skin issues or those with active acne, are pregnant, or breastfeeding may not be suitable candidates. A qualified aesthetic doctor will speak with you to assess your skin’s needs and overall health to personalise a treatment plan for you.
On the day of treatment, a topical anaesthetic will be applied to ensure your comfort. The handheld device will then press into the treatment area, allowing the microneedles to perforate the skin. Once the pins are in place, they emit radiofrequency (RF) waves. The entire procedure, including numbing and preparation, takes around an hour or so.
Following treatment, the treated area may undergo cooling to alleviate discomfort. Mild topical steroids might be prescribed for inflammation. Your doctor will provide instructions on caring for the treated areas as they heal.
Patients can expect to notice a visible improvement in the appearance and firmness of the skin, especially over time as the skin heals.
For optimal results, you may need between 1 to 6 sessions. Each session should be performed about 4 to 6 weeks apart depending on the individual’s treatment plan.
Regain a more youthful and rejuvenated look with a gentle and quick procedure.

Morpheus 8 is generally not associated with significant pain. It is a swift treatment for both the face and body, lasting approximately 30 to 60 minutes. Topical anaesthesia will be administered to your skin to minimise any discomfort, as the treated areas will be numbed. Nevertheless, you may experience a slight tingling or warm sensation as the applicator moves across your skin.
Following the procedure, patients might experience mild redness or swelling, but these effects typically subside within a couple of days.
Right after the treatment, many patients will notice small raised bumps due to the heating effect. Some may experience tiny bruises. The bumps usually subside over a few hours, and any mild bruising tends to settle within a few days.
How long the results last will depend on what you are aiming for.
For reduction in scarring, the improvement is usually permanent after several sessions.
If you are aiming to tighten loose skin caused by ageing, then it will be an ongoing process that requires maintenance treatments in order to preserve its effects effectively.
